Armoniosi accenti is built on a musical fragment of nine notes derived from the third movement of Mozart's Serenade K. 361. At the same time, it adopts the unusual instrumentation of Mozart's work. A small quotation from the last movement of Haydn's Symphony No. 104 represents an homage to the Orchestra Haydn of Bolzano.
